We make only what the estate allows

Ca' Sasso was born in the Vena del Gesso Romagnola, a ridge of crystalline rock among the hills of Romagna. Here nature is not a backdrop but the protagonist, and the wine follows its rhythm.

We don't chase volume. Organic farming, minimal intervention in the cellar and time: the result is two essential, precise and mineral wines that carry the mark of gypsum into the glass.

Our philosophy

Our wines

Every vintage is a micro-production: once it's gone, you wait for the next one.

The Vena del Gesso Romagnola

A gypsum ridge some 25 kilometres long, made of caves, sinkholes and rocks that glitter in the sun, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our vines grow on these poor, mineral soils.
